One of the longest and highest Victorian residential terraces, built in the mid 19th Century in a French Renaissance style. Ceiling heights of 5m have been reinstated to recreate the imposing reception rooms that face south over private gardens and Hyde Park beyond. The interior fabric was so badly damaged by the buildings conversion to a hotel in the 1970's, that the internal structure was completely renewed in keeping with the form plan of the original terrace.
